College Regulations
- The college operates on a six-day schedule, with two sessions each day. On a given day, there are three morning sessions and two afternoon sessions, each session lasting for one hour.
- Classes commence at 10:00 AM with a morning assembly. In the absence of a morning assembly, classes begin promptly.
- Students must wear clean and tidy attire when attending college.
- Punctuality is expected from all students. They must arrive on time for classes and other scheduled activities.
- Students should wait outside the classroom until granted permission by the respective faculty. Entry should only be allowed after obtaining permission, and exit should be after the completion of the class. Attendance must be marked upon entry.
- Before the start of each class, students must be disciplined and stand in their respective classroom lines.
- Greeting the faculty members upon first sight each day is mandatory for all students.
- Students must remain seated in their respective classroom until the teacher arrives and leave only after the class is dismissed.
- Students should not gather or loiter in the college premises, corridors, playground, or any other areas during college hours.
- Respect for fellow students, faculty members, and support staff is to be shown from the moment of interaction. Greetings should be extended to all staff members, including the cleaning and security staff.
- After obtaining permission to leave the class, students should exit the classroom promptly.
- During class breaks, students should not move from one classroom to another unnecessarily.
- In the absence of classes, students should maintain silence and proceed to the library.
- Students should conduct themselves with decorum and respect the rules and regulations of the college at all times.
- Students should actively participate and behave responsibly during college functions or public events. Maintaining the reputation and dignity of the college community is imperative.
- During any college event, including Tamil Thai Vazhthu and national anthem, students must stand up and show respect.
- Vandalism, defacement of property, and engaging in activities that disrupt the peaceful environment of the college premises are strictly prohibited. Writing on walls or desks and using the premises for activities unrelated to education is not allowed. Pens and pencils should only be used for writing purposes, and any form of misuse is prohibited.
- Students should not invite outsiders or alumni into the college premises without prior permission from the college authorities.
- Students should not hold any official position or represent any political party or organization within or outside the college premises. Those found violating these regulations will be expelled from the college.
- No gatherings or events should be organized within or outside the college premises without the permission of the college authorities. Students should not participate in any such activities without proper authorization.
- Students should not visit college libraries, principal's office, or participate in research activities during unspecified hours.
- When utilizing college facilities, students must do so responsibly and with utmost care. Any damage or misuse of facilities will result in disciplinary action and fines.
- Any alteration or tampering with hostel rooms or college property is strictly prohibited. Those found responsible will be charged for the damages.
- Damage to college property will result in disciplinary action and fines.
- In accordance with the laws of Tamil Nadu, the college authorities have the power to imposefines, suspend, or terminate students for misconduct.
- In case of any misconduct, students will be informed immediately, and the concerned student's parent or guardian or the counselor or the security officer will be informed. The student will be given an opportunity to explain themselves. The final decision will be made by the disciplinary committee.
- Any student found involved in ragging or any form of harassment will be immediately expelled from the college and legal action will be taken as per the Indian Penal Code.
- Any behavior or action that goes against the dignity, integrity, and reputation of the students, teachers, or staff members, whether within or outside the college premises, will result in disciplinary action.
- Every student must obtain a conduct certificate signed by the Principal before leaving the college.
- If students engage in any illegal activities or are caught by the police outside the college premises, they will be immediately expelled from the college.
- Each student is advised not to read any notices posted on the college notice board in the morning or in the evening.
- The parking area should be restricted within the college premises. College staff and outsiders should not park in places such as entrances.
- Students should submit their homework punctually, engaging in regular interaction with teachers during appropriate times.
- Students must respect their superiors. Before approaching the head of the department, they should first consult with their respective class teachers and obtain their permission.
- All official communications, including certificates and marksheets, must be conveyed through the principal's office.
- Harsh disciplinary actions will be taken against students who engage in bullying, whether within the college premises or outside.
- No student should approach one group of students while belonging to another without the permission of the authorities.
- Advertising materials of any kind are not permitted within the college premises.
- All rules and regulations should be informed to the principal at the earliest opportunity.
- No group or individual student is allowed to organize any event without permission.
- Those found guilty of bullying or harassment will face severe consequences.
- Any gathering or event not approved by the principal is strictly prohibited.
- Any altercation between students and members of the public will result in disciplinary action.
- Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited within the college premises and should be handed over before entry.
- Students are required to adhere to the dress code prescribed by the college. Attire such as T-shirts, jeans, and leggings is not permitted.
- Students must wear appropriate attire when entering the college premises. T-shirts, jeans, leggings, etc., are not allowed.
- Unauthorized entry into classrooms or other restricted areas is strictly prohibited.
- The college environment should always be clean, beautiful, and peaceful. Students must maintain the integrity and decorum of the college at all times.
